The future of aging services is being shaped by those willing to think differently, collaborate boldly, and act with purpose. In this keynote, Dr. Robyn Stone will share how research, real-world innovation, and collective action are driving meaningful change across our field. With an emphasis on practical solutions and inspiring success stories, this session will highlight how every leader—regardless of role—can contribute to a lasting impact.
Stone was a political appointee in the Clinton Administration, serving in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as deputy assistant secretary for disability, aging, and long-term care policy. She also served as assistant secretary for aging. Stone’s widely published work addresses long-term care policy and quality, chronic care for people with disabilities, the aging services workforce, affordable senior housing, and family caregiving.
She is a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and the National Academy of Social Insurance, and was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2014. Stone received an MA in public policy from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, and a DrPH from the University of California Berkeley.

Dr. Albert L. Reyes, DMin, PhD, is the president and CEO of Buckner International, leading the organization since 2007. Previously,
he served as president of Buckner Children and Family Services and Baptist University of the Américas, where he spearheaded significant growth and transformation.
With experience as a pastor, corporate manager at Sprint, and president of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, Reyes now serves as vice president of the Baptist World Alliance, USA Region. He holds degrees in business, theology, missiology,
and global leadership from Angelo State University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Andrews University.
A recognized leader, Reyes has received D CEO’s Leadership Excellence Award, the UN Day Global Leadership Award, and was named to the 2023 D CEO Dallas 500 list. He is also a board member of the Christian Alliance for Orphans and the Angelo
State University Foundation.
Reyes has authored three books, including Never Alone: The Power of Family to Inspire Hope (2024). He and his wife, Belinda, have three adult sons and are active members of Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas.
