Join us for August's #AgingWell Campaign

August 2024, we will be leading a month-long #AgingWell social media campaign, as part of our Bright Spots calendar, to explore ways to live vibrantly, promote healthy aging practices, and create a community that champions a fulfilling and joyful life at every stage.


Throughout August, LeadingAge Texas leads #AgingWell, a month-long campaign to promote healthy aging and vibrant living in our communities. We aim to highlight the many ways our members support and encourage older adults to lead active, fulfilling lives.

We’re inviting staff, residents, clients, families, and all our members to share stories, tips, and photos that exemplify healthy aging and vibrant living. LeadingAge Texas is providing customizable social graphics and templates, sample social posts, op-ed template, and sample pitch notes for members to participate effortlessly.

Here are some ways to participate:

PROMOTE #AGINGWELL ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Whether you’re using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram – or all of the above – engage your communities in the conversation.

Be sure to follow us on social media at @LeadingAgeTexas, tag us, and use the hashtag #AgingWell in your posts. Feel free to use our sample posts below, edit as needed, and explore our social media banners and posts.

PR TEMPLATES:

We're providing a plug-and-play draft op-ed and phone script for reporter pitches that you can customize for use in August. We recommend including local details about 1) initiatives that promote healthy aging in your community and 2) success stories of residents who exemplify vibrant living.
