EIA (Educational Institute on Aging) scholarships assist LeadingAge Texas members in attending educational events throughout the year including the LeadingAge Texas Annual Conference. Scholarships
for the Annual Conference cover the cost of registration and up to a $500 reimbursement for travel expenses.
- Applicants must be first-time attendees
- More than one applicant per community can apply, however no more than one scholarship per community will be granted

Texans throughout the spectrum of care.
EIA scholarships are supported by proceeds from the
Annual Herb Shore Silent Auction benefitting the
Herb Shore Scholarship Fund which was established in 1991 to honor Dr. Herb Shore and serves to provide scholarships and conference grants.
