Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to dorothy@leadingagetexas.org no later than May 1. Cancellation penalties:

• February 24 - March 31 = full refund less a $75 processing fee
• April 1 – April 30 = 50% refund
• Any time after April 30 = registrant forfeits the registration fee in its entirety

Substitutions may be made at any time for persons unable to attend. Substitution requests should be submitted via email to  dorothy@leadingagetexas.org.

Group rates are available this year to our Aging Service Provider Members this year; for 5+ employees of aging services member providers from the same campus! ($50 discount/person)

NOTE:
• Please select 'Aging Services Attendee' for attendee type, and then select the '2022 Attendee: Full Conference - Group Rate' for attendee selections during the registration process
• If a provider has multiple communities/campuses, the group cannot be made up of employees from different campuses; Groups must be part of the same campus.
• The group rate is only available to employees of aging service providers who are also members with our association. This not available to our Business Member/vendor employees.

 

We offer one-day pass if you cannot make it to the full conference. You can purchase one, one-day, pass for any day Sunday – Wednesday. The day pass is available to Aging Services Providers. Pre-selection of your sessions helps LeadingAge Texas ensure the meeting room is sufficient for the number of registrants. Your pre-selected sessions will be printed on the back of your on-site name-badge. However, if you decide at the conference you would like to attend a different session than you originally chose, that is allowed!

Congratulations on your recognition! Guest tickets are available for award winners and may be purchased either during conference registration or on their own. Contact dorothy@leadingagetexas.org to make arrangements.

Splitting or sharing a registration is not permitted. Registrations are to be used by the same person for the entire conference even if the person is able to attend only part of the program or conference. A one-day registration rate is available for anyone who cannot attend the full conference.

LeadingAge Texas has been approved for Continuing Education for 12.50 total participant hours (37 program hours) by NAB/NCERS and is seeking approval for Continuing Education for Nurses and Social Workers.

• LeadingAge Texas will monitor attendance with reports that will be posted at each education session. Attendees will need to sign-in and sign-out of each session and attend for the session in full to receive credit.

• Moderators for each session will be making note of attendance. Credit will not be granted for late arrivals or early departures.

• Certificates of attendance will be emailed to 2 – 3 weeks after the conference. Attendees will be required to first complete a short evaluation of the session, and then the certificate will be available in the professional development section of your profile.

• If you identify any discrepancies with your certificate(s), LeadingAge Texas will evaluate requests for changes on a case-by-case basis after the conference. Questions can be emailed to dorothy@leadingagetexas.org.

If approved by the presenter, handouts will be available on our session resource page up to 4-weeks after the conclusion of the conference.

LeadingAge Texas has two scholarship opportunities available to attend the 2022 Annual Conference & Solutions EXPO:

Clinical Excellence Scholarships | LeadingAge Texas has been awarded CMP funds to provide 50 recipients with the opportunity to experience the LeadingAge Texas Annual Conference & Solutions EXPO with the 2022 Clinical Excellence Scholarship.

The 2022 Clinical Excellence Scholarship application is open to employees of all Texas nursing facilities (Administrator, Administrator in Training, CNA, LVN, RN, or another direct-care position).

The 2022 Clinical Excellence Scholarship covers the cost of registration for the Annual Conference & Solutions EXPO

EIA Scholarships | EIA (Educational Institute on Aging) scholarships assist LeadingAge Texas members in attending educational events throughout the year including the LeadingAge Texas Annual Conference. All employees of LeadingAge Texas member communities are eligible to apply. Scholarships for the Annual Conference cover the cost of registration and up to a $500 reimbursement for travel expenses.

 

You will receive an email with instructions on how to download the mobile App a couple of weeks before the conference dates.

You will receive a confirmation via email within 1 business day of your registration.

Dress for the conference is business casual. Layered clothing is recommended for your comfort, as regulating temperatures in meeting, dining, and other areas is often difficult.

The Solutions EXPO will kick-off on Monday, May 23rd at 4:30 – 6 :30 pm with a reception with the exhibitors including hors d'oeuvre and drinks! Tuesday the 24th catch lunch with the exhibitors from 12:15 – 2:15 pm before they depart!

The 2022 Annual Conference & Solutions EXPO, as with all in-person events hosted by LeadingAge Texas, will follow CDC recommendations along with state, county, & city guidelines, and the host hotel’s policy as it relates to COVID-19. Should changes occur within said guidelines impacting the event, LeadingAge Texas will adjust & update attendance requirements accordingly.
