LeadingAge Texas has been awarded CMP funds to provide 50 recipients with the 2022 Clinical Excellence Scholarship - a scholarship
that seeks to improve nursing home quality by investing in Texas’ aging services direct-care workforce.
Open to direct-care employees of all licensed nursing facilities in Texas, the 2022 Clinical Excellence Scholarship aims
to provide timely, innovative education from which the scholarship recipients can come away with knowledge and actionable concepts to directly impact and improve the quality of care that residents in their communities receive. This scholarship
provides covers the cost of registration for the LeadingAge Texas 2022 Annual Conference & Solutions EXPO at no cost to up to 50 eligible recipients.

Who can apply?
Individuals who hold direct-care positions in any
Licensed Nursing Facility in Texas are eligible.
Members and non-members alike are encouraged to apply.
What exactly does the scholarship cover?
The 2022 Clinical Excellence Scholarship covers the cost of registration for the Annual Conference & Solutions EXPO.
How are recipients selected?
All applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted and to determine eligibility based on the criteria set forth. Once deemed eligible, selected applicants will be notified via email (within two business days of submitting the application) & will be provided with next steps on registering.
Upon receiving and processing 50 eligible applications, LeadingAge Texas will be unable to accept any further applications.
If selected, what is required of me as a Scholarship Recipient?
- Upon acceptance, follow the instructions that will be provided by LeadingAge Texas staff via email.
- Attend the 2022 Annual Conference & Solutions EXPO
- Complete the three post-conference bench-marking surveys (details outlined in application below).
