LeadingAge Texas is in front of the public policy issues facing the spectrum of aging services. In today's political climate, the impact of both state and federal decisions are often immediate and interconnected. As a member of LeadingAge Texas, you should expect the best in advocacy. We deliver on that promise by working extensively with elected officials, government agencies, developing relationships with media, and engaging our members in grassroots efforts across the state.
Aging policy has economic, social, ethical, and practical components. Our team works all aspects of these components to develop a full and complete picture for decision makers. Whether it is working with nursing homes, assisted living, or affordable housing issues, the LeadingAge Texas Public Policy Team is ready to be your advocate and source of information for the rapid changes in the political and public policy realm. Advocacy requires a constant relationship between our professional staff in Austin and LeadingAge Texas members around the state. Our
