Yesterday, Governor Abbott issued Executive Order (GA-34) lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100 percent. As outlined in number five, this order does not impact or change current HHSC rules and guidance in long-term care facilities.
Additionally, nothing in the order precludes businesses or other establishments from requiring employees or customers to follow additional measures, including the wearing of a face covering.
