Aging Services Memberships

Member

LeadingAge Texas Membership is open to the entire continuum of not-for-profit aging care, services and housing providers including: multi-level care communities, residential living, assisted living, nursing and community based service providers. Voting members are eligible to serve on committees, task forces, peer groups and the Board of Directors. They are also members of LeadingAge our national affiliate. Membership benefits in both associations include advocacy, networking, education, group purchasing and resources/tools.

NOTICE: By applying for membership the prospective member agrees to subscribe to the statement of purpose in the Bylaws and shall demonstrate commitment to the core philosophy and values associated with serving seniors in a nonprofit setting. Applicants must provide a referral from a voting member and will be reviewed by the board of directors who meets every 2-3 months.

Member Employee

Select this registration type at the bottom of this page if your employer is already a Member of LeadingAge Texas. 

Multi-Site Organization

Multi-Site Organizations own or sponsor two or more LeadingAge Texas aging services/community members. Multi-Site Organizations are voting members and receive all the same benefits as aging services/community members. There are no annual membership dues for Multi-Site Organizations.

Multi-Site Employee

Select this registration type at the bottom of this page if your employer is already a Multi-Site Organizational Member of LeadingAge Texas and you work at the parent organization.

Associate Memberships

Associate Membership includes Organizational, Individual, Student and Business Member categories. Individual Members that are not affiliated with any entity, and employees that are affiliated with an Organizational Member that is a nonprofit or governmental entity, may serve on the Board of Directors as specially appointed directors with voting rights. Otherwise, an associate Member shall neither hold office nor vote.

Organizational Member

An organization that supports the philosophy and purposes of LeadingAge Texas, who is a not-for-profit organization, and whose purpose is to provide benefits to the elderly but is not direct care or services, is a state agency, or is involved in educational programs in the field of aging is eligible to apply for Organizational Membership. Organizational Membership benefits include invitations to semi-annual networking meetings, weekly e-newsletter, education and conference discounts, trade show discounts and access to members-only information on the website.

Organizational Employee

Select this registration type at the bottom of this page if your employer is already a member of LeadingAge Texas. 

Individual Member

An Individual who supports the philosophy and purposes of LeadingAge Texas, who is not employed by a provider or eligible for organizational or business membership is eligible to apply for Individual Membership. Typically this membership category is for educators, students, retired former members and individuals interested in long-term care and senior service, but not currently employed in that field. Individual Membership benefits include invitations to semi-annual networking meetings, weekly e-newsletter, education and conference discounts, and access to members-only information on the website.

Student Member

Students (pursuing an aging services related degree) who supports the philosophy and purposes of LeadingAge Texas and not employed in a full-time paid position by an aging services provider or eligible for business membership may apply for a complimentary Student Membership. Student Membership benefits include invitations to semi-annual networking meetings, weekly e-newsletter, education and conference discounts, and access to members-only information on the website. 
Student must provide a college/university email during registration and may be asked to verify student status. 


Associate Business Membership

Business Member

Companies who provide products and services to senior healthcare and housing organizations and who support the philosophy and purposes of LeadingAge Texas may apply to become Business Members. Business Members receive listing on the website and membership directory, a printed copy of the membership directory, weekly communications, trade show, advertising and education discounts, and invitations to networking meetings.

Business Member Employee

Select this registration type at the bottom of this page if your employer is already a Business Member of LeadingAge Texas.


Non-Member Registration

Please select the Non-Member Seminar Attendee or Non-Member Vendor Employee registration type at the bottom of this page to receive communications regarding professional development or promotional opportunities. Please note the online community is only available to Members.

Non-Member Seminar Attendee

Select this registration type at the bottom of this page if you are not eligible for membership and are looking to register for an event and/or receive correspondence regarding upcoming professional development.

Non-Member Vendor Employee

Select this registration type at the bottom of this page if you are not interested in business membership however you are interested in registering or receiving correspondence regarding trade show, sponsorship, advertising, or speaker opportunities.
