As not-for-profits, LeadingAge Texas members qualify for financial assistance under the president’s emergency declaration. Members are encouraged to join this special Zoom meeting during which disaster preparedness & recovery specialists from Tidal Basin will provide guidance on how to properly, effectively, and efficiently apply for FEMA assistance.

PRESENTERS

Allen Davis

Allen Davis is the Director of Recovery for Tidal Basin and has over 13 years of experience in Emergency Management with a focus on recovery. Formerly, Allen spent 12 years with FEMA’s Region 9 serving as a Public Assistance Group Supervisor in the Recovery Division and Infrastructure Branch Director on the IMAT.

Kris Prickett

Kris Prickett is the Director of Healthcare Services for Tidal Basin and has 15 years of experience in Emergency Management with a focus on Healthcare. Formerly, Kris was a Program Manager for FEMA where he helped developed multiple new novel national programs following the devastation of hurricanes Irma and Maria. Prior to working at FEMA Kris was a hospital emergency manager for a trauma system near Atlanta. Kris’s academic achievements include a M.Sc. in Virology and a M.Sc. in Public Health and Emergency Management.
