Across the past 5-7 years, the not-for-profit senior living sector has also experienced an uptick in mergers, affiliations and acquisition activity. The intent of this session is to discuss the trends, catalysts and disruptors that are driving this activity and to better understand the overall landscape for not-for-profit sponsorship transitions such as increased for-profit competition, complexity of the skilled nursing marketplace, and C-suite retirements. The goal will be to provide a macro-level perspective, as well as regional and statewide information.

The ability to become a Leader Worth Following hinges on the quality of that persons communication. What we say, what we don’t and of course how we say it are all slippery slopes on the Leadership journey. In this session, you’ll participate in an exercise that will illustrate the true importance of clear communication.
