Ventana by Buckner Names John Falldine Senior Executive Director

The Dallas nonprofit senior living community will benefit from Falldine’s experience within the senior living industry.  

Buckner Retirement Services announced the hiring of senior living industry veteran John Falldine as the new senior executive director for Ventana by Buckner, effective April 15, 2024. As senior executive director of the senior living community, Falldine will oversee community operations, regulatory compliance, and resident and associate relations.  

“John Falldine is passionate about serving seniors, and I know he will ensure we continue to provide service excellence to Ventana members in everything we do,” said Michael Olmstead, vice president and COO of Buckner Retirement Services. “At Ventana we believe it is our calling to provide our members with the highest quality of care possible.” 

Falldine has an extensive resume as a leader in senior living. Most recently, he served as executive director of Edgemere, a senior living community in Dallas.

“What was appealing about Buckner is the overall culture. It's a mission-driven organization, and that is a comfort for me, knowing that I will be continuing a career of service to others,” Falldine said.

Falldine previously held leadership roles with Greystone Communities LLC and served as a senior living operations and marketing consultant for several senior living communities across the country. He has a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from St. Leo University.
