To all LeadingAge Texas communities,

If you have not had the opportunity to participate in the Moving Mountain Webinars over the course of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to share with you how beneficial they have been for our team and providers.

With respect to all the changes on the horizon, we all face challenges with the preparation of new regulations and reimbursement systems. As we all strive for excellence in resident care, the many regulatory standards of care can seem overwhelming. Piecing together the details of participation requirements is often a challenge on its own.

This past year our teams had the opportunity to participate in multiple topics presented by Proactive in collaboration with LeadingAge Texas. We have participated in comprehensive educational training since January pertaining to the changes in Phase 3 regulations, PDPM, Compliance and Infection Preventionist guidelines.

With only a few webinars remaining on the schedule, I highly recommend you take advantage of these great educational opportunities. Not only have the webinars provided detailed information, the application resource tools have helped us with program implementation.

The information is specific to the regulation changes or general topic reviews and successfully educates your team. We will be incorporating many of the reference tools into our daily operational approaches. For example, the past webinars have provided great tools for the PDPM transition.

I hope you and your team benefit as much as we have from the webinars presented by Proactive and hosted by LeadingAge Texas. Thank you LeadingAge Texas for coordinating such beneficial and educational events for our communities!
