Ash Wednesday Service at The Point
Wednesday, March 6, 2019, 7:00 p.m.
Begin the season of Lent with this special service that includes the Imposition of
Ashes at 7:00 p.m. in The Point Auditorium. The imposition of Ashes will also be
available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Dr. Don R. Benton Meditation Chapel at
The Point. FREE and open to the public.
Nostalgia Live! At The Point
Friday, March 8, 2019, 3:30 p.m.
Join Don and Norman as they take their audience on a trip down memory lane with a
musical revue evoking memories through songs from the 1920s to the present. FREE
and open to the public.
Body, Mind, Spirit Health & Wellness Fair
Saturday, March 9, 2019, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
This event will feature organizations, vendors and social clubs to offer senior
resources, provide health screenings and educate the local senior community.
CC Young encourages active living and engages participants in wellness activities in a safe, friendly and fun atmosphere. Special workshops include: How to Downsize in an Upsize World presented by Tammy O’Neil and Laugh Therapy For Health, Happiness and Fun presented by Kato Crow. FREE and open to the public.

CC Young will host a discussion with Texas Trailblazers in honor of Women’s History
Month, features Gale Sliger, Philanthropist & President/CEO of Gale Sliger
Productions, LLC; Heidi K. Murray, CMP, COO of Leadership Women, Inc.; and
Martha Tiller, President and CEO of Martha Tiller Company. CC Young Community
Outreach VP Denise Aver Phillips will moderate the panel. This event will be held at
