ABOUT THE WEBINAR

This session of the PDPM Master Class Series will focus on best practices for data collection from pre-admission screening through day eight of the SNF stay. This webinar will review effective systems and suggested timeframes for resident assessment through an Interdisciplinary approach to ensure accurate and timely information is gathered to appropriately report care and services provided on the initial Medicare assessment. Emphasis will be on critical data elements used in the calculation of the PDPM per diem. The RAI MDS Correction Policy will also be reviewed to ensure the appropriate correction of errors should they be identified.

  • Describe an effective process for pre-admission screening including early identification of services to be received and comorbid conditions to be treated or managed.
  • Review strategies for incorporating early PDPM data collection processes into current facility practices.
  • Identify opportunities for IDT collaboration to achieve timely and accurate assessment data

  • Overview of pre-admission screening and admission practices that include early identification of services to be received and primary and comorbid conditions to be treated or managed during the skilled stay
  • Break down of what information is needed and when during the first eight days of the skilled stay with suggested processes to incorporate data collection into current practices

  • No-shows will be billed. No refunds for failure to log-in at the time of the event.

  • Cancellations*:
    • A full refund will be given to all cancellations received 10 or more business days prior to the program.
    • A $10 administrative fee will be charged to all cancellations received six to nine business days prior to the program.
    • No refunds will be given to cancellations received five or fewer business days prior to the program.
    • LeadingAge Texas reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment in which case pre-registered participants will be notified and full refunds provided.
