ABOUT THE WEBINAR

This webinar will review strategies for successfully managing rehabilitation programs through the shift in reimbursement from a focus on therapy service time delivered to the patient driven payment model which emphasizes resident characteristics.  Content will explore meeting and justifying Medicare skilled service requirements, considerations for contract therapy terms and service delivery under PDPM, consumer expectations for rehabilitation, potential areas of future medical review, and interdisciplinary collaboration for quality outcomes. Guidance regarding preparing for payment model changes while maintaining an effectively functioning therapy program will be provided. An action planning tool will be shared with participants.
