2019 ADVOCACY WORKSHOP & CAPITOL DAY
February 4 - 5, 2019 • Texas State Capitol • Austin
Bring your board members! Bring your team!
We must establish a strong voice for not-for-profit aging services in the 86th Legislature. Join your fellow members at the 2019 Advocacy Workshop & Capitol Day to advocate for those you serve and their caregivers. Legislators need to hear from you so they understand, promote, and protect the programs and services your communities provide for senior Texans. Your credibility as an industry expert and as a provider makes you an ideal advocate for your community and the seniors you serve! LeadingAge Texas members will storm the Capitol to spread our message to our lawmakers.

| MONDAY: Advocacy Workshop | Texas State Capitol - Legislative Conference Center [E2.002] |
| This workshop will feature speakers and presentations from those who are focused on issues that will dominate this legislative session. LeadingAge Texas staff will be on hand to discuss our legislative priorities, specific issues, and how to lobby legislators at the Capitol on the following day. Stick around for Tiff's & other treats: we will cap off the day with a celebration of LeadingAge Texas' 60th year where legislators, staff, and agency officials will be invited to meet with attendees. |

- Aging Services Members: $50
- Students: Free (Registration is still required)
+ Aging Services Members receive a 10% discount off total registration if 3+ employees attend from the same campus!
Registration Cancellation Policy: All registrations are fully transferable at any time. Cancellations must be received no later than January 14 for a full refund, less a $25 processing fee. Refunds will not be provided after January 14.
