Highland Springs retirement community promoted Christina Christie to Director of Sales.
Mrs. Christie holds more than fifteen years of experience in the senior living industry with Erickson Living, the manager and developer of Highland Springs. In 2002, she began her career as a Sales Counselor with a sister community, Brooksby Village, in Boston. Upon transferring to Dallas in 2005, Mrs. Christie played a key role in launching the sales program at Highland Springs and has served as Sales Counselor since that time.
As Director of Sales, Mrs. Christie will focus on achieving an exceptional customer experience for future residents, planning for continued strategic growth of the 89-acre campus, maintaining budgeted occupancy and overseeing the seven-member sales team.
“We are extremely proud to promote Christina to the leadership position of Director of Sales,” stated Matt Neville, Executive Director of Highland Springs. “She has literally grown with the community, meeting our very first residents in a temporary sales trailer as the campus was under construction twelve years ago. Christina has extensive knowledge of our full continuum of care, a deep investment in the local community and a commitment to living our mission. Those qualities make Christina a natural fit to broaden her role as we serve our residents and meet the demand for the unique lifestyle offered by Highland Springs.”
In December 2016, Highland Springs opened Pecan Grove, an independent living building featuring 108 residences with nine fresh floor plans highlighting open-concept designs in luxury two-bedroom and extra-large, one-bedroom homes. Its amenities for residents include underground parking, an exercise studio and a restaurant with patio dining.
Mrs. Christie resides in Allen, Texas with her husband, Steve, and two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kennedy; she is very involved as a volunteer for her children’s scouting and sports activities. She graduated with a degree in Marketing Management from Cincinnati State College.
